After 100 hours on Pinterest I found this design on a pillow and I have finally finished it! Mikey would have made at least 200 of these in the time it takes me to make 1!

My Christmas Mantle

It's Christmas time in the house! I never know how I want to do my mantle each year so I look in all my mags and blogs to get some inspiration and let the creative juices flow! Wow am I tired.
So with some shredded paper, silver and green x-mas balls and candlesticks from the thrift store It is ready.

Creating Burlap Wreaths

Everything with BURLAP is HOT right now in the crafting world! Mikey and I spent a couple of hours making our burlap wreaths. When we started we were saying "I want to make 2 or 3 more of these for gifts-halfway through the project we decided maybe we were the only ones to get this wreath! It is labor intensive and cutting the burlap makes a mess, but we had a fun afternoon and we only ate 1 box of Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies-that's pretty good for us!
